Student Recruitment System Separate from LASER Project
The student recruitment system originally considered for K-State did not meet the university's expansive recruiting needs, therefore the student recruitment team is focused on choosing an alternative system. The implementation of this recruitment system will be separate from the LASER Project.

New LASER team members
The LASER Project welcomes Nandini Gopinath to the team. She was hired by the Information Systems Office (ISO) as a student system specialist.

Desktop Recommendations for Oracle Applications
The desktop recommendations for the Oracle Applications have been approved and published. Please review the recommendations carefully as it is important for all computers at K-State to run efficiently, and to meet basic security, networking, and upgrade issues as well. The recommendations are based on the K-State Recommendations for Student Computers.
